1997 GP1200 Engine Mount

Hi everyone,

I have an engine mount that is broken down in the hull. The female (?) part where the bolts screw into spins inside the fiberglass and I cant get the engine mount out.

I need to replace the mount, but at this point, I'm not sure its even possible. Has anyone seen anything like this? Is it fixable?

You will have to remove the items in the way to get to the mount to replace it. Engine mounts Fail thats all there is to it.

I know the mounts fail, and I would love to replace it, but the issue is that the mounting brackets... the part the mount screws into... is broken inside of the hull.

If it's to be fixed, I think it would have to be re-glassed or something, but I wonder if it is even doable. If the fiberglass was fixed, would it be strong enough?

Has anyone else seen this and if so, what did you do to fix it?
