So, if I put someone "new" on the PWC (i.e . my wife the rookie) should I have her set the VTS at a low setting? You said it's for spped, load, and control. Am I correct in thinking that she won't be able to go as fast, which might make it a little tougher to control...since the 98 XPL is already a bit unstable?

An XPL is not a "beginner" ski by any means....be very very careful!John Kubiak
