traced slow cranking fault

I tracked my slow starter cranking speed to positive battery cable, it was corroded in the core setting up a high resistance to the starter , replaced cable problem solved .

I'm fighting the same thing now, the wire is kinda crappy but the starter is also in very bad condition.. Uhh I hate this!! I want to go out sunday..

BTW which ski were you doing this for? better yet which engine?

1996 spx was my electrial head ache . I went through many elecrical faults on the forum before i checked for that possible cause
