94 tach not working

Yea, everything appears to be connected. Maybe there is a broken wire in the ignition box. Any Idea on what wire to check?

I think the tach may be bad. I checked the trigger wire (yellow/red) from the tach to the ignition box and it is good. I also have 12v from the wires that loop over form the gas gage. The I pulled the tach and removed the plug and checked continuity for each of the three wires going into the tach---all good.

Anybody know where i can get a good tach at a fair price? What about an aftermarket tach?

You can do to any boating store and get a tiny-tach or similar, it just wont fi in your hood opening.

I might have a tach here (I have 1 94xp's and 2 or 3 spare hoods somewhere in the shop). I'll look this afternoon and let ya know..
