Re: water valve removal
It can be removed by unscrewing it obviously, your question seems to be what is typically done. I would hope it is still available, Rossier when that ski first came out offered a jet kit for the water box, just a few brass fitting to jet a small amount of water into the box to keep it from melting the foam etc. Try giving them a buzz.

Re: water valve removal
I found this on another site, posted by W.Wx. on how to remove the water regulator
---------------------------------------------------------------------
The big line coming to the water reg is the feed line, connect it to a 1/4 tee if the feed line is bigger put a 1/4 hose on the tee and cut off flush with barb, this makes the barb a little bigger so you can plug the bigger feed line on it. (Hope I havent lost you yet)
Take the brass fitting out of the water box & replace with the same size 1/4 barb fitting that is on your exhaust pipe, run a piece of hose to the straight part of the tee to the new barb fitting on the waterbox, make sure you are sending the water into the water box thru the staraight part.
The T side hook up your hose that feeds water to the exhaust pipe, right about where yours started turning brown.
You can tap the ends of both brass barb fittings (water box & pipe) with a 5mmx.080 metric tap this will allow you to adjust water flow thru these lineswith a carb main jet,the water box can pretty much take all the water the fitting will allow with no adverse affects.

Im kinda lost after trying to follow it, can anyone draw this out??
