I recently too my 96 SeaDoo to a PWC Mechanic and the price of replacing the pump bearings is $305 + tax, I am sure we are talking about labor added, but was curious if this was a reasonable price?

Re: SeaDoo Pump Bearing Pricing
If that is all they did, it is a bit high, But, if they changed the wear ring too, you got an extra $65 to $80 worth of parts and labor.
Here the charges are as follows,
Wear ring $38.00
Front pump seal double lip $18.00
2 ea, pump bearings $32.00
R&R pump, impellor and replace bearings, wear ring and seal : 1.5 hours x $75.00=$112.50
Total: $200.50Bill O'Neal <br>

Re: SeaDoo Pump Bearing Pricing
Because of the time of season this close to July 4 is why I said it is fair plus here in Texas most dealers are 90.00 an hour during the summer. We dont have as many shops as the west coast or florida does, so you get stuck with very high labor rates
