  • Possible air leak?

At the end of the day I take both my machines out of the lake and run them on the trailer for a few seconds to remove the water in the exhaust. My SLX has a SBT engine, and once in a while it will rev up to around 5,000 RPM and not want to shut off. It only has about 15 hours or so on it and is still under warranty. How do I go about checking for air leaks? The rear cylinder has a pink spot on that silver dot you guys put on the cylinder heads. Would this be the one leaking if I do have a problem? Really not looking forward to pulling the engine. Would anything else make it rev up on it's own like that?
He who dies with the most toys Still dies! So have fun with them 1970 SS 396 Chevelle, 86 ATC 250R (RAD valve,K&N, FMF gold series, bandit XC's), 97 XLT600SP (SLP tripple pipes, reverse, EPI clutch kit), 95 SL750 (all the bolt on's) & 96 SLX

it does this only on the trailer??
you say you couldn't shut it off, I would lean towards stop switch. How did you get it to shut off in the end?
