Ok, now I know this is a pwc forum, but since the principles are the same, and I really dont know any snowmobile forums I figure I would post my question here. Anyway, My snowmobile trailer(triton, one year old) lights are wacked out. The parking(running) lights work fine. The brake lights work when the running lights arent on. Thats when everything gets screwed up. When you hit the brakes with the lights on, all the lights ont eh trailer go off. When you put the turn signal on, either right or left, it doesnt matter, all the trailer lights blink. Can anyone think of anything off the top of their head that would cause this? The trailer worked when I used it last, and I already tested my jeep with one of those little testers and it check out ok.

Re: Snowmobile trailer lights wacked out!
Sounds like some reversed wires with improper ground my suggestion and easiest fix for you would be to buy a harness kit at walmart for like 10 bucks and some string or something to pull through with the wire when removing it and rewire the trailer entirely with a new harness.
